Game Planning for Great Decision Making

Every Thanksgiving a bunch of my friends get together to stage the annual Turkey Bowl football game. It is pick-up football at its best; we play the game inside a major college football stadium. Two-hand touch. First pulled hamstring wins!
There are no plays. Nobody has a defined position. We just make it up on the fly.
Unfortunately, that’s how many of the guys involved in the Turkey Bowl make real-life decisions too. We just make it up as we go; the emotion of the moment carrying the day.
The Turkey Bowl---and our decision-making----would be much better if we had a game plan to follow.
The Bible offers some incredibly practical advice on how to put yourself in position to make well-reasoned decisions. We discuss those ideas during our on-line study “Game Planning Great Decision-Making”. This is a four-part study that requires only 15 minutes per session. It’s live on-line. As long as you have internet access and a telephone, you can be part of the action.
